Children & Young People

Little Fishes

Little Fishes is a Parent and Toddler group held in church every fortnight during term time. It is an opportunity for parents to meet up and chat, whilst their children are in a safe and child friendly environment.

There are lots of games and activities for the children to use while the parents can chat to each other.

If interested, please contact Shirley Boyce on 01892 864633.

Messy Church

Messy ChurchMessy Church operates fortnightly in term time on Wednesdays. Parents/carers bring their children straight from school to church, and pick them up at 4.30 pm.

This is led by a team of parents and we would welcome some offers of help from parents from Reception, Years 1 and 2 in order to keep it running.

It is very popular and involves a story, sometimes singing, and arts and crafts.

Sunday School

Sunday School meets at 9.30 am in the school during the first part of the service and the children come into church at the time of the Communion for a Blessing.

Sunday School is for school-age children and each week the focus is on learning the Gospel stories in a fun way appropriate to their age. Examples of their craft work are often displayed in church.

St Thomas' Youth Group (STYG)

STYG is open to young people between 11 and 15 years old.  The group is run by Becky and Nick Allan and is involved in a wide range of both indoor and outdoor activities.
